Design & Construction Engineer

The Design & Construction Supervision Engineer will have for main duties : technical support on construction design, leading decentralized irrigation schemes and solar pumping operation/maintenance design. Project management includes workplan/report development, budget support, communication with authorities, promoting collaboration, and strong team communication. Capacity building involves contributing to skills training plans for staff, partners, and beneficiaries.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in civil or agricultural engineering with irrigation/hydrology focus, plus 12 years’ experience in design/implementation of gravity and pumped irrigation projects (7+ years), including 3+ years in construction supervision of internationally funded projects. Six years’ developing country experience is needed, preferably in Laos or Southeast Asia.
