Call for Volunteers to participate in a Virtual workcamp: Global Hero International Incubation Programme (Laos)

Do you want to make our world a better place? Do you want to take actions in response to the needs of community? Do you want to know how to attract more people to support your mission and passion?

Global Association for People and the Environment (GAPE) together with Huam Jai Asasamak Association (HJA) in collaboration with VolTra Hong Kong is seeking 50 Lao volunteers to participate in the Virtual workcamp: Glocal Hero International Incubation Programme in Lao PDR. This is a platform for Lao young people to exchange and explore experiences and knowledge with international youth around the globe. The programme will last for about a month, and the volunteers will have a chance to practice their skills as a team and individuals based on the assignments.

In this programme, we would focus on incubating social project initiated by young people to create international social impact together! We welcome young people (16 -29 years old) from different countries to join this amazing journey to team-up with international fellows and develop social projects ideas together.

To encourage international engagement and stand with international workcamp organizations under the Covid-19 pandemic, GAPE on behalf of the programme in Lao PDR, would provide USD20 per participant for those who participate and complete the entire workcamp programme.

By the end of the programme, you will have chance to showcase your project idea on international fund-raising platforms and in the “Action For World” presentation.
