Plan International Laos is looking for the following position for an anticipated project on “Supporting the Institutional Strengthening of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Sector”
Governance Specialist
based in Vientiane Capital, Laos
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the International Regulatory and institutional Specialist and Water Utility- Financial
- Contribute and support on the consultations for the development of the draft of Law on Water Supply.
- Facilitate data collection, interviews with key stakeholders, analyzing data as required.
- Support policy dialog related to the water and urban forum, and its next steps.
- Support preparing the water and urban forum.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working on institutional, regulatory and governance arrangements in the urban infrastructure field for at least 8 years.
- Experience working with water utilities, and with multilateral/bilateral organizations is desirable.
