The Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation is a unique Swiss non-profit organisation based in Trogen, Switzerland. We are committed to create access to quality education for all children and young people in Switzerland and worldwide. The implementation of the Convention of the Rights of the Child forms the framework of our projects. The Children’s Village is a place of encounter and the heart of our foundation.

You take on

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of the education sector to support the strategic development of the country programme
  • Share knowledge and provide training to operational partners and other stakeholders on educational content and processes.
  • Serve as the Country Safeguarding Focal Point, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
  •  Monitor and report on the results of the operational partners and the country programme.
  •  Be part of a welcoming and supportive team atmosphere.

You bring

  • Master’s degree in education or related fields with a proven track record in managing various education and child rights projects.
  •  Deep understanding of the country’s education system, policies, and strategies.
  •  Extensive experience in Training of Trainers, focusing on child-centered approaches and curriculum development.
  •  Knowledge of Child Rights, Child Protection Policies, and Intercultural Education is a plus.
  •  Strong experience in program development, including Project Cycle Management and Result-Based Management.
  •  Team player with good analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and strong social and interpersonal communication skills.
  •  Fluent in national language(s) and English, both spoken and written.
  •  Proficient in PC Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  •  Willing to travel to remote project areas frequently.
