Hiring Consultancy for iSTUDY Project Impact and Lessons Learned Video Production
World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. World Vision serves all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. As a child-focused organization, WV’s work focuses on children, ensuring they are protected, and their basic needs are met.
World Vision International Lao PDR (WVIL) under iStudy Project World Vision aims to improve learning outcomes in over 20 vulnerable rural schools in the Toomlan district, Salavane Province. The ultimate measure of project success is “more children reading”, in alignment with the High-Level Outcome 2 of the and MOES’s ESDP 2021-2025. To achieve this goal, iSTUDY provides key training, coaching, and targeted assistance to improve the quality of basic education services, with a specific emphasis on improving early grade reading outcomes, and by engaging directly with students, teachers, caregivers, communities, and local authorities in the district.

Purpose
•
To highlight and document achievements and good practices of iSTUDY Project, target schools (primary and pre-primary), and communities to improve the learning outcome of primary school children.
•
To capture challenges/lessons learned of iSTUDY Project and target area.
•
To promote MoFA JP funding project in Laos as the conclusion of the 3-year project.
2.
Specific Objectives
•
Summarize good practices and lessons learned from activities under the supervision of a consultant, reflecting on iSTUDY inputs.
•
Document above through the stories of children, teachers, caregivers and VEDC members, and/or key government counterparts.
•
Expected products:
–
One full length video featuring project summary key good practices/lessons learned (around 5-minute long)
–
1 or 2 short versions to be used for presentation etc. (1-minute long)
–
1 short video featuring WASH in school-related activities that present an outcome of how WASH integrated into education and creating an impact to school attendance especially female student. (1-3 minutes long)

1 short video featuring of community WASH related activities that present an outcome of how

How to apply:
The candidates are invited to send a complete application package in English containing:
–
A curriculum vitae.

An expression of interest letter of no more than 4 pages, outlining how a consultant/ a team of consultants meets the selection criteria.
–
A proposal should include proposed approaches, outlined timeframe, frameworks and detailed methodologies, sample size, logistics, and personnel.
–
A financial proposal that indicates the fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs. The offer must ensure that costs consist of consultant fees (meals and tax included).
