Community Engagement Specialist

Plan International Laos is looking for the following position for an anticipated project on “Supporting the Institutional Strengthening of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Sector”

Community Engagement Specialist

based in Vientiane Capital, Laos

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work closely with the project team to identify the key stakeholders, community groups, representatives to be consulted.
• Set up survey forms, conduct/lead surveys and consultation events with the technical team.
• Collate and compile information and conduct data analyzes.
• Provide inputs to the water supply and sanitation sector regulatory framework and guidelines. 

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in social science or a related field.
• experience in community engagement, facilitating stakeholder consultations, focus group discussions for at least 5 years.
• Experience working on urban, water and sanitation sector projects is desirable.
