Background: For more than 40 years, Action Education has worked for access to quality education in Africa, Latin America-Caribbean, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Europe. We run 91 projects in 20 countries, including France, for over 1.5 million people. AE Laos, which started its program in 2006, has been implementing several education projects.

Position Overview: The Communication Intern will support Communication & Advocacy Officer Based in the Vientiane Office with occasional field travel, this role provides practical communication strategies and advocacy experience within an international NGO.
- Principle duties and responsibilities
Communication
• Assist in developing and executing communication plans to raise awareness of AE’s initiatives in Laos, both locally and internationally.
• Assist to promote on Social media (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc. )
• Support the day-to-day activities in the AEL Laos office
• Assist to Create and record voice-overs for educational materials and promotional content
• Assist to Develop and produce engaging content across various platforms to showcase our educational initiatives and impact
• Assist mission and field trips to collect content, including beneficiary interviews, photography, and videography. - Values and Behavior: Promotes organizational culture, growth, performance, and image. Qualification
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Education, Public Policy, or a related field
Experiences and Skills
- Basic Communication understanding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills preferred.
- Good communication skills in both Lao and English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Possess intermediate level in following core competency:
