Inclusive Eye Health project
The aims of the project on Prevention of blindness are to:

Establish the health systems and support access to qualitative eye health services among vulnerable groups
“Make Inclusion Real”: Promotion of disability inclusion and advocacy
The aim of the project implemented by Lao Disabled Women’s Development Centre (LDWDC) is to strengthen DPOs and the Disability movement to effectively advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities across all impairment groups at national level and in Luang Prabang province.
LDWDC will be a key facilitator to support the engagement of other DPOs with an aim to unify and consolidate the efforts of the disability movement for the national and local advocacy on disability inclusion and human rights of persons with disabilities. To reach that aim and as part of their 2018-2022 strategic plan, LDWDC plans to lead the development of a joint advocacy plan of organisations of persons with disabilities (DPOs) for disability inclusion.
Community Based Inclusive Development
The aim of the project is to build capacity of the implementing partner ARMI (Association for Rural Mobilisation and Improvement) and people with disabilities including their representative groups to effectively facilitate inclusive development processes and to advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities across all impairment groups in a community within Luang Prabang.
ARMI is legally registered Non-Profit Association (NPA) that will be a key facilitator to support the initiation of the Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) approach in Luang Prabang (Kanmi Suanhuam Naikan Phattana Sum Som), working closely with the targeted communities and a network of stakeholders, engaging people with disabilities and their organisations to enable disability inclusive development on the ground.
