Request for proposals for the Small Research on Plastic Pollution and Waste Management

Swisscontact Lao PDR in Vientiane is pleased to invite all interested CSOs, NPAs, and Mass Organizations to submit proposals for the Small Research on Plastic Pollution and Waste Management in Vientiane Capital, supported by the SCP project.

1. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Concept Note with methodology and workplan
• Estimate budget

2. SPECIFICATION OF EQUIPMENT
The main objective of this research is to assess the current situation of plastic pollution and waste management in Vientiane capital and to identify practical recommendations for improving waste management system, but not limited to explore innovative and sustainable solutions, technologies, or policy approaches that could reduce plastic waste and promote a circular economy in the context of Vientiane Capital.

Quantity: Please refer to the ToR in the attachment, the maximum budget should not exceed 2,000 USD
Location: Vientiane Capital (Xaysetha, Sisattanak, Chanthabury)
Tasks: – Research preparation and design
– Data collection and analysis
– Presentation and reporting
– Disseminating key findings to public
Delivery: Final report must be submitted not later than 25th Dec 2025
