Let Our Voice Be Heard – A dialogue between children and government about the impact of COVID-19 on Asia’s most vulnerable girls and boys – is organized in order to celebrate the upcoming Universal Children’s day (20th November) and will be featuring teenager/young adults and government officers from South East Asia.
For Lao PDR, Thepthida (15 years old girl from Atsaphone district, Savannakhet Province) and Dr Bouakeo Souvanthong, Deputy Director of Hygiene and Health Promotion Department for the Ministry of Health will participate to the meeting.
This webinar is following a regional survey World Vision International conducted in July in Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Mongolia, Philippines and Indonesia on the impacts of COVID-19 on the youth, which results will be communicated during the online event and unveiled afterwards through the ACT NOW report (will be shared after the event).
