Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA) Specialist

World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. The Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA) Specialist will lead initiatives to integrate environmentally sustainable practices and climate-adaptive actions into design and implementation of livelihood programs including mainstreaming ESCA into inclusive Market System Development (iMSD) and considering an integrated approach with GEDSI approaches. A key focus would be working cross-functionally on a green (sustainable environment, climate resilient) and gender inclusive business model. Therefore, this role involves developing strategies, conducting research, and implementing pilots to minimize environmentally negative impacts, enhance community resilience to climate change, and promote green opportunities, such as green products, technologies, services, and jobs in Soukouma District, Champasak Province.
