Project: Hidden Jewel Project
Location Phongsaly district, Phongsaly Province
Duration of contract 1 year with a possible extension
Date of entry ASAP
Tasks:
A Hidden Jewel is successfully implemented and human and financial resources are managed effectively and efficiency in accordance with Helvetas standards and donor requirements.
B Project team is designated, motivated and fulfills their roles effectively.
C Hidden Jewel partnership and its stakeholders are managed effectively.
D Hidden Jewel has rolled out structured knowledge products and communication plans and publish regularly on relevant platforms and other fora.
Profile/Qualification
• Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in business management, tourism development with focus on Eco and community-based tourism or related fields
• Project management, private sector development, financial administration
• Minimum 6 years working in project management, community or private sector development
• Strategic critical skills
• Project planning and scheduling
• Budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge management and communication for profiling, advocacy and policy dialogue
• Ability to multi-task & set priorities effectively; good filing and organization; good communication skills
Team management and motivational leadership
• Strategic and situational leadership
• Stakeholder management skills
• English- effective; Lao
• Microsoft Office 365 programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; email & internet
