BASELINE SURVEY CONSULTANCY FOR XONNABOULY EDUCATION
At World Vision, we share a big dream for children. We want children to have everything they need to thrive, both physically and emotionally, so they can experience life in all its fullness. We have this dream for all the children in Lao PDR, and to fulfill that, we are working in seven provinces with many local partners in Nutrition, Education, and Child Participation and Protection programs.
The objective of Xonnabouly education project is to improve children’s learning outcomes through increased access to quality education, breaking the cycle of disadvantage and exclusion in Lao PDR, in alignment with the MoES Education Sector Development Plan for 2021-2025 which prioritizes the improvement of the quality of education. Historically, WVI-L has implemented education activities in all Area Development Programmes (ADPs) –24 districts across 5 provinces of Lao PDR – making a solid contribution to increase in enrolment and completion rates in target villages. Focusing on local level community engagement, particularly with children and families, education activities most commonly delivered by WVI-L include education promotion and community awareness raising, budget support for teachers and VEDC training led by MoES staff, school construction and renovation, latrine construction, provision of materials including textbooks, education funds, and provision of reading books.

How to apply:
Interested Consultants / Consultancy firms are requested to submit an expression of interest, including:
• A proposal with timeline and a detailed indicative budget, including international travel cost. Other field visit costs such as local accommodation, all local travel expenses (Car rental and stationary supply) will be provided by WVIL.
• Please submit your bid by 23 May 2025.
• The bid should be submitted in English and include the following:
• Proposed methodology not exceeding 5 pages, including three relevant references
• Updated CVs for the Team of Consultants not exceeding 3 pages
• Detailed proposed workplan
• Consultancy firm capacity statement and credentials (if applying as a firm)
• Schedule, including confirmation of availability against the indicated timeframe and detailed financial offer (in U.S dollars)
