Handicap International is changing his name and becomes « Humanity & Inclusion ». HI, Humanity & Inclusion is an independent and impartial aid and development organisation with no religious or political affiliations operating in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable people to help meet their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

Since the organisation was first founded in 1982, we have set up development programmes in 62 countries and responded to many emergencies. Today we have a budget of around 150 million euros, with 3500 employees worldwide.

Humanity and Inclusion (HI) has been active in Lao P.D.R. since 1996. The organization’s vision is of a Lao society where all adults and children live as equal individuals in a safe environment. Human Resources demands is increasing to support both humanitarian and development projects as well as the implementation of Stratop and the integration with South East Asia Geographic Division, the South East Asia Geographic Division includes operations in Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. HI is currently seeking a qualified and motivated person to work in the position of Facility Officer

 Position type: Full Time

Type of contract:  Fixed term contract

Base location: HouaMuang district, Houaphanh Province

 Mission 1: Operation implementation of logistics

• Diagnostic phase – contextual analysis

• Identifies regulatory requirements (donors, legal, etc.)
• Evaluates the capacities of the available and mobilizable resources (human and material)
  • Design phase – resources planning
• Designs an adapted maintenance/repair plan for each project (costs, quality, deadlines)
• Helps establish the projects activity schedule
• Helps define the material resources necessary for ensuring the projects feasibility
• Manages the human resources concerned by fleet management
  • Launch phase – Planning of vehicle fleet maintenance
• Defines the strategy and maintenance plans
• Plans all the means necessary for the maintenance of the vehicle fleet for the duration of the project.
  • Implementation phase – coordination
• Monitors maintenance deadlines and issues the necessary reminders
• Adjusts the maintenance plans after each project review

 Profile required

Qualifications:

• Education requirement: Bachelors in project management, logistics or supply chain is an advantage
• Experience in procurement, facility management, fleet management, reservation, receptionist or administration
• Team player, decision making, communication, multi-tasking, attention to detail, transparency/integrity
• Language requirement: Native Lao and intermediate in English,
• Computer skill: Proficient in Microsoft Office package is mandatory,

HI offers: approximate Gross salary LAK 11,800,000 – LAK 13,650,000 based on experiences + benefits (13th month, insurances, etc.).
