Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices (DPP)-SCHOLARSHIP program
Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam and GEneva Graduate insitute of International and development Studies Offer a scholarship program

International program divided in 3 modules and
delivered via 5 regional hubs in Africa, Central Asia,
Latin America and Southeast Asia. 

The DPP lasts 2 full-time months and 4 part-time months at the participants’ place of work. It is designed for development practitioners in Central and Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. The program is also open to Swiss and other 'Northern' countries candidates working in international cooperation, whether they are based in the field or at the headquarters of their organization.
Module 1: July 2018 - August 2018 in Hanoi (5 full-time weeks)
Regional analysis of public policies and local/international development actors; Analytical and methodological tools; Strategic management of development actions
Module 2: September 2018 - December 2018 (4 part-time months at participants’ place of work)
Job-related professional thesis and Gender e-learning
Module 3: January 2019 – February 2019 in Geneva (3 full-time weeks)
Strengthening communication, negotiation, mediation, decision-making, teamwork and intercultural skills; Delivery of the professional theses findings and interaction with thematic groups, professors, experts and practitioners; Analysis of the policies and practices of Geneva-based organizations and public administrations

Who can apply?
To apply, candidates should be currently working for or aspire to work in governmental agencies, international or local NGOs, international organizations, bilateral cooperation agencies, or the private sector in positions related to development or international cooperation. Scholarships are available for candidates coming from the Mekong Region (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar) and Switzerland.
The criteria for selection are: Professionals with key positions in public, private sectors, international and local NGOs or civil society associations; University degree (minimum 3 years) and several years of professional experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience); Employer's letter of commitment; Proficiency in English. Knowing Spanish and/or French is a plus; Optimal age between 30 and 45 years
