Programme Description

Swisscontact is the business-oriented independent foundation for international development cooperation. Represented in 34 countries with over 1,200 employees, Swisscontact has promoted economic, social and environmental development since 1959.

Swisscontact specialises in: 

 Skills development.  Productive employment and earning an income through market-oriented vocational training and improved labour market access.

Enterprise development.  Strengthening productivity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through sustainable value chain interventions, improved market access and local economic development.

Financial Inclusion.  Empowering entrepreneurial people by improving their access to financial products, services and financial literacy trainings.

Climate Smart Economy.  Building resilient communities and creating green jobs through energy-efficient use of resources and clean production.
