Mission Statement

To improve the quality of life in communities by operating Community Centre that providing social work services specializations. Furthermore, to contribute capacity building of social work services for Lao People.

Programme Description

Great Peace project aims to improve people's the quality of life through implementing the following main activities;

1. Complementing vulnerable and dysfunctional families : To support vulnerable and dysfunctional families to empower of family function through  implementing children care services and parenting education services

2. Protecting Vulnerable Social Groups and Participant Empowerment : To provide various health care services and activities for mature age persons over 55 years old to prevent isolation and emotional depression. And to improve the capacity of the disabled to adapt in community

3. Improving Community Organization and Social Networks Reinforcement : To utilize the local residents for reinforcement of community capacity, by operating various group of community people and increase the sense of community identity by strengthening social networks through connecting human and material resources

4. General Social Work Services Maximization for Local Residents : To provide general social work services like educational, cultural, healthcare and leisure activities for local residents’ needs and offer them opportunities to have better life

5. Developing Social Work Specialists Capability : To  increase social work specialists’ practical knowledge and skills by greater understanding of social work services and assist the leaders gain specialist skills

6. Supporting the expending project for Local Social Welfare Service : To implement programs that needs and requirements in the local community in order to increase the quality of life
