Healthcare capacity Enhancement for Children and Community in XK

HECC or Healthcare Capacity Enhancement for Children and Community in XK is a project launched by HHA in partnership with the Public Health Department of Xiengkhouang. It aims at enhancing capacities of community, healthcare services, and thalassemia patient care. HECC implements a wide range of activities such as public awareness through education sessions, technical training, mobile clinic, facilities enhancement, and thalassemia patient support. Focusing on nutrition for children under five years old, HECC is contributing to the Lao government's efforts in achieving MDG 1. Its coverage includes the districts of Khoun, Thathom, and Mokmai.
