Mission Statement

ADRA Laos serves the people of Lao PDR to alleviate poverty through empowering partnerships.

Programme Description

ADRA Laos works in partnership with communities and local government to achieve lasting change in people's lives. The agency promotes participatory development methods to address the underlying causes of poverty. The current program is active in two Provinces, Oudomxay and Xiang Khuang, and in the Vientiane Municipality. Activities include Health Portfolio - Lifestyle Health (tobacco control), HIV/AIDS Peer Education and Awareness, Water, Sanitation and Health Education; Nutrition, Environment Portfolio - Agriculture and Natural Resource Management.
