Programme Description

CARE Laos is committed to working with communities and partners to facilitate lasting positive change. With a presence in Xayabouly, Phongsaly, Vientiane Capital, Vientiane Province, and Xekong province. CARE is able to reach communities in remote and urban areas with the assistance they require. CARE program are built on a foundation of community participation and partnership with priority development activities identified by the communities and partners with whom we work. CARE clearly supports local government to utilize principles of effective community development in their work.

 

 

Currently CARE Laos activities focus on three main program areas: Integrated Rural Development, UXO and Avian Influenza, plus Disaster Preparedness and Response.  The CARE Laos Long Range Strategic Plan 2007 - 2012 outlines our key program focus areas that guide our program and operations. :
