Provincial Public Health Manager, Based in Xay District, Oudomxay Province

Provincial Public Health Manager, Based in Xay District, Oudomxay Province


Responsibilities will include

·         Oversee Public health Project in Oudomxay province

·          Annual, quarterly and monthly work planning and reporting of the Public Health activities

·         Line manage District Public Health Coordinator and Plan Engineer  

·         Organize monthly team meetings, quarterly and annual meetings with WASH/MCH sector in the district and Provincial level

·         Ensure that District and Provincial Health team are trained in CLTS and Nutrition   

·         Support  Engineer for Health facilities and WASH facilities construction

·         Support Provincial and District level, integrated monitoring for villages using available frameworks


Skills, qualifications, experience

·         Skills and experience in management and development of staff;

·         Demonstrated skills and experience in lively, enthusiastic, extrovert, animation approaches with villages, schools, children and young people;

·         Knowledge and experience in PRA and similar methodologies

·         Strong commitment to equal participation of women and girls essential;

·         Excellent team player essential;

·         Excellent written and spoken English and Lao essential
